Good location, within easy reach of Blackpool sea front. Out of the 2 Haven parks close to Blackpool we found this to be the better one. As with all Haven holidays, the actual cost of the accommodation was not too bad, but the cost of drinks food and other stuff can soon make it an expensive holiday. We found quite a few other Haven guests used the Toby carvery just a little walk from the main entrance. All in all, if you know what to expect from Havens you won't be disappointed. The caravan we had was in a good state of repair, was clean and warm just as we expected.
First time I have been to haven. Lovely place staff are very helpful and always have a smile . been to butlins and this is better by far its all about the children not the staff. Great entertainment. The only down fall I would say is if you don't drive it can take a while on a bus or you can get tram which is good when light are on in Blackpool. They do not take bus passes on the trams unless you live in Blackpool. I recommend buying a weekly ticket for children or a 3day ticket that does cover the tram as well. My family enjoyed it so much that I have booked again for easter.
Absolutely love this Haven site! Not too large, but enough to do. Good location for getting in to Blackpool & Fleetwood. Staff are lovely. Pool is good & 2 playgrounds to keep children amused. Arcades are always good fun too & there is a small soft play area within it. Live lounge is large & clean. Funstars & Seaside Squad are loved by my children. Mash & Barrel have a good menu, on last visit service had improved. There is Papa John's pizza place on site, but I wouldn't say it is good value. Very expensive. I would recommend Cala Gran to other young families.
Lovely Caravan Park, loads for the kids to do. A 20 minute drive from Blackpool with plenty of places to eat on and off site locally. Food and drink was really reasonable on site which is often not the case in holiday parks and we'll definitely come back in the future. But in short, great swimming pool, fab entertainment and loads to do with the crazy kids so they didn't have time to get bored.
Had a lovely break here and caravan was excellent, very comfortable and clean. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and arcade! Staff were brilliant and very helpful, will definitely be back. Carol McKay
